Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup unsalted butter Melted for the sauce
  • 4 cloves 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese For coating the wings
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Hot sauce Optional for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel. In a large bowl, toss the wings with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Baking

  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.

Coating

  • Once the wings are baked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot garlic butter over the wings and toss to coat.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and toss until fully coated.

Serving

  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with a side of hot sauce, if desired.

Notes

For an extra kick, try adding a few teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce. If you prefer a milder version, reduce the amount of garlic or Parmesan as needed.
