Description

A creamy, dreamy no churn salted caramel ice cream made with love and pure ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, homemade or store-bought

Instructions

  1. Chill your pan: Place a 9×5-inch loaf pan in the freezer to chill for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Whip the cream: In a stand mixer bowl, pour in 2 cups of cold heavy whipping cream and whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Mix the base: Combine 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt in a separate bowl. Fold in about 1 cup of the whipped cream.
  4. Combine mixtures: Gently fold the sweetened condensed milk mixture into the remaining whipped cream.
  5. Layer the mixture: Pour half of the mixture into your chilled loaf pan. Drizzle half of your caramel sauce over the top, then spoon the remaining mixture in followed by the rest of the caramel sauce.
  6. Swirl the caramel: Use a butter knife to gently swirl the caramel into the ice cream mixture.
  7. Chill to set: Cover the pan and freeze for at least 5 hours or until completely set.

Notes

Ensure the heavy cream and pan are very cold for best results. Store in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn.
