Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2–3 hot green chilis, seeded and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil (about 1/4 cup)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients for convenience.
- In a food processor, combine parsley, cilantro, hot chilis, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, and a sprinkle of salt.
- Pulse the mixture for about 15-20 seconds until the herbs are finely chopped.
- With the processor running, gradually drizzle in the olive oil until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Serve your Zhoug Sauce as a condiment for grilled meats, or as a dip for veggies and chips.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. The sauce only gets better as it sits!
