Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook ground beef with taco seasoning according to package instructions. Set aside.
    In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, red onion, and cheese.
    In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, cilantro, sour cream, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
    Add cooked meat to the salad, drizzle with dressing, and toss gently.
    Top with crushed tortilla chips before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute meat with black beans or grilled tofu.
  • Adjust spice level by adding jalapeƱos or hot sauce.
