Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-sized)
  • 4 small tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup nacho cheese sauce (optional)
  • Cooking spray or oil for grilling

Instructions

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and water (as per seasoning instructions). Set aside.
Lay out a flour tortilla and place a tostada shell in the center.
Layer the ingredients in this order: seasoned ground beef, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced onions, sour cream, and nacho cheese sauce (if using).
Fold the edges of the tortilla over the filling, creating a hexagon shape. Press gently to seal.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or oil.
Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down on the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Customize the fillings with your favorite toppings, such as guacamole or jalapeños.
  • Use a panini press for easier grilling.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat in a skillet or microwave.
