Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup crushed stuffing mix or breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Arrange chicken breasts in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
    Layer Swiss cheese slices over the chicken.
    In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and broth. Pour over the chicken and cheese.
    Combine crushed stuffing/breadcrumbs with melted butter and paprika. Sprinkle evenly over the top.
    Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
  • Substitute Swiss cheese with mozzarella or provolone if preferred.
