For Ribs:
- 1 rack (3-4 lbs) baby back or spare ribs
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For Sauce:
- 1 cup ketchup
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp liquid smoke (optional)
Prep Ribs: Remove membrane from ribs, then rub with spice mixture (brown sugar through black pepper).Slow Cook: Place ribs upright in slow cooker (curved side out), cover, and cook on LOW 6 hours.Make Sauce: Whisk all sauce ingredients in a saucepan; simmer 5 minutes.Glaze: Brush ribs with sauce, broil 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
