- 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce (or 2 tbsp each ketchup + apple cider vinegar for sugar-free)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Combine Ingredients: Place chicken in slow cooker. Whisk remaining ingredients (except ½ the BBQ sauce) and pour over chicken.Cook: Cover and cook on LOW 4 hours or HIGH 2 hours.Shred: Remove chicken, shred with forks, then mix back into juices.Finish: Stir in reserved BBQ sauce. Broil 3 minutes for caramelization (optional).
