- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook noodles al dente; drain.Brown meat with onion and garlic; drain excess fat.Mix soup, sour cream, milk, and half the cheese in a bowl.Combine noodles, meat mixture, and sauce; transfer to baking dish.Top with remaining cheese and crushed chips/breadcrumbs. Dot with butter.Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
