Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack lightly with cooking spray.
Prepare the Chicken Wings: Pat the wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Make the Lemon-Pepper Sauce: While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, cracked black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir well to combine.
Toss the Wings in Sauce: Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the lemon-pepper sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly
Serve and Enjoy: Arrange the wings on a platter, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red chili flakes to the sauce.
