- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ cup sour cream
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 8 oz (225g) egg noodles, cooked
Brown the beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.Sauté veggies: Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms; cook until softened (5 mins).Make the sauce: Stir in butter and flour. Gradually add beef broth, Worcestershire, and mustard. Simmer until thickened (5 mins).Finish with sour cream: Remove from heat, stir in sour cream, and season.Serve: Toss with cooked noodles and garnish with parsley.
