Ingredients

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split into wings and drumettes)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder (optional, for extra crispiness)

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prep the Wings: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and baking powder. Toss the wings in the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Make the Sauce: While the wings bake, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Coat the Wings: Once the wings are done, toss them in the garlic parmesan sauce until fully coated.
Serve: Garnish with extra parmesan and parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, use a wire rack to allow air circulation while baking.
  • Substitute fresh garlic with 1 tsp garlic powder if preferred.
  • Double the recipe for larger gatherings.
