Ingredients
  

Main Components

  • 8 oz (225g) flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz (170g) egg noodles or udon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Garnish

  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ lemon (juiced)

Instructions
 

  • Cook Noodles: Boil according to package. Drain, reserving ¼ cup water.
    Sear Steak:
    Season steak with salt/pepper.
    Sear in 1 tbsp butter over high heat (1 min per side). Remove.
    Make Sauce:
    In same pan, melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic 30 sec.
    Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and pepper.
    Combine: Toss noodles, steak, and reserved water in sauce.
    Finish: Top with parmesan, parsley, and lemon juice.

Notes

  • Substitutions: Use ribeye for richer flavor or mushrooms for vegetarian
  • Doneness: Medium-rare steak (130°F/54°C internal temp)
  • Storage: Best fresh (noodles dry out when refrigerated)
