Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth (low-sodium)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or substitute with half-and-half or coconut milk)
  • Zest and juice of 2 lemons
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper.
    Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
    Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest, scraping up browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and simmer.
    Finish Cooking: Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Cook for 5-7 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internally.
    Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley or thyme, and serve over pasta, rice, or vegetables.
