- 10-12 red chilies (Thai or Fresno), stemmed
- 8 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt

- 1 tbsp fermented bean paste (optional)
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ cup neutral oil
