Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • ¼ cup capers, drained
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, shaking off the excess.
    Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
    Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce slightly.
    Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the chicken to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for another 5 minutes, ensuring the chicken is fully cooked.
    Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
