For the Chicken

- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste½
- ½ cup vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Sauce
- 2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
For Topping
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Step 1: Prepare the ChickenPreheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound to an even thickness, about ½ inch thick.
