Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear the chicken in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Stir in heavy cream and let the sauce thicken slightly.
  • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce.
  • Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, add a slurry of cornstarch and water during step 6.
