Ingredients

boneless, skinless chicken breasts

heavy cream

chicken broth

cloves garlic, minced

medium onion, finely chopped

tbsp
olive oil

tsp
paprika

tsp
dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season chicken breasts with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Sear the chicken in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Stir in heavy cream and let the sauce thicken slightly.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce.
Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, add a slurry of cornstarch and water during step 6.
