Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or vegan butter)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Step 3: Coat the Cauliflower
Add the cauliflower florets to the batter, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Shake off excess batter and place the florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Step 4: Bake the Cauliflower
Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even crispiness.
  • Step 5: Add Buffalo Sauce
While the cauliflower is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a small bowl.
Once the cauliflower is baked, remove it from the oven and brush each floret generously with the buffalo sauce mixture. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Step 6: Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a crispier texture, use an air fryer instead of baking.
  • Adjust the spice level by mixing buffalo sauce with honey or using a milder sauce.
