Ingredients

Main:

  • 1 (6–10 lb) fully cooked bone-in or spiral-cut ham

Glaze:

  • 1 cup apricot preserves/jam
  • ¼–½ cup brown sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp Dijon or stone-ground mustard
  • Spices: ⅛ tsp each cinnamon, cloves (optional)
  • Optional: honey, lemon juice, BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Prep: Preheat oven to 325–350°F. Score ham (if not spiral-cut) and place cut-side down in a roasting pan.
Glaze: Whisk preserves, sugar, mustard, and spices; simmer briefly. Reserve half for later.
Bake: Brush ham with glaze, cover with foil, and bake (1–2 hours, ~14 mins/lb). Uncover, add remaining glaze, and bake 10–30 mins until caramelized.
Rest: Let ham rest 15–30 mins before slicing.

Notes

  • Bone-in vs. boneless: Bone-in adds flavor but is harder to carve; boneless is easier to slice 8.
  • Storage: Leftovers last 3–5 days refrigerated or freeze for 4 months
