Apple Filling:
- 5 cups (600g) peeled & sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
Crumble Topping:
- ¾ cup (95g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (45g) rolled oats
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ⅓ cup (75g) cold butter, cubed
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).Toss apples with lemon juice, sugar, cornstarch, and spices. Pour into 8x8" baking dish.Mix flour, oats, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly.Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.Bake 35-40 mins until golden and bubbly.Cool 10 mins before serving.
