Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) jar dill pickle chips, drained and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray
  • Ranch or dipping sauce of choice

Instructions

  • Prep Breading: Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne in one bowl. In another bowl, beat eggs. In a third bowl, combine panko and cornmeal.
Coat Pickles: Dredge each pickle chip in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko mixture. Place on a tray.
Air Fry: Lightly spray pickles with cooking spray. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
Serve: Enjoy immediately with ranch or dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, space pickles evenly in the air fryer basket (avoid overcrowding).
  • Gluten-free? Use almond flour and gluten-free panko.
