  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
