Ingredients

  • 4 large Fresh Lemons
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • A handful of Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 6 cups Water
  • Optional: Food Coloring (green or purple)
  • Optional: Edible Glitter

Instructions

  1. Juicing the Lemons: Cut the lemons in half and extract the juice until you have about 1 cup, ensuring to remove the seeds.
  2. Making the Simple Syrup: In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a gentle boil while stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Bringing it Together: In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, the cooled simple syrup, and the remaining 5 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  4. Herbal Infusion: Add the fresh mint leaves and stir gently. Let it sit for 30 minutes for flavor melding.
  5. Final Touch: If desired, add food coloring and adjust sweetness to taste.
  6. Serve: Pour the lemonade into glasses filled with ice and top with edible glitter.
