Description
A light and refreshing summer drink, combining crisp white wine with an aromatic herb-infused syrup.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 1 cup white wine
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- 3 teaspoons herb syrup
- 1/4 cup club soda
- Thyme sprig for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Make the Herb-Infused Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar, rosemary, and grated ginger. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves—about 3-5 minutes. Once dissolved, lower the heat and let the syrup infuse for about 10 minutes.
- Combine the Ingredients: In a large glass, mix in the chilled white wine, fresh lemon juice, and your homemade herb syrup. Add in the fresh ginger for that invigorating zest.
- Fill your glass with ice cubes, and top it off with club soda. Use a spoon to give it a gentle stir and combine all the flavors seamlessly.
- Finish off with a few sprigs of thyme for that aromatic touch. Voilà! Your spritzer is ready to enjoy.
Notes
The herb-infused syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Prepare the syrup a day in advance for the best flavor.
