- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line three large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Make the cookie dough by combining butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, orange zest, and orange juice in a stand mixer. Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients slowly until just combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and walnuts gently using a spatula.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and do not overcrowd the baking sheets. The dough can be made a day in advance.
