Description

A creative twist on the classic PB&J featuring refreshing watermelon, crunchy pickles, and creamy Havarti cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of watermelon
  • 3 slices of pickles
  • 1 slice of Havarti cheese
  • 1 drizzle of hot honey
  • 1 drizzle of balsamic glaze
  • 3 leaves of basil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Watermelon: Cut two thin squares out of a chilled watermelon to resemble bread slices, about ¾ inch thick.
  2. Assemble the Sandwich: On one watermelon square, layer the pickle slices and then place the Havarti cheese on top.
  3. Add the Drizzles: Drizzle hot honey over the cheese, followed by balsamic glaze.
  4. Finish with Basil: Lay fresh basil leaves on top.
  5. Top It Off: Place the second watermelon square on top.
  6. Enjoy: Press down gently, slice in half, and serve.
