Description

A soul-warming comfort food featuring rich, creamy fettuccine topped with tender steak and a luscious garlic butter cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • Fettuccine Pasta (12 oz)
  • Steak (1 lb, sirloin or ribeye)
  • Velveeta Cheese (8 oz)
  • Butter (4 tbsp, unsalted)
  • Heavy Cream (1 cup)
  • Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in boiling salted water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of cooking water.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook in a skillet with 1 tbsp butter for 3-5 minutes per side. Let rest and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and Velveeta, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add cooked fettuccine and sliced steak to the skillet, tossing to coat.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature butter and cream for a smoother sauce. You can prepare the sauce ahead and reheat when ready to serve.
