Description

A creamy, comforting pasta dish with a kick of Cajun spice, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the cream, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning. Stir until combined, then gradually add in the cubed Velveeta cheese. Keep stirring until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
  3. Add the cooked chicken to the sauce, mixing well. Fold in the drained linguine, ensuring every strand is coated in the creamy sauce.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy!

Notes

You can prep the sauce a day in advance; just reheat gently before adding the linguine. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
