Ingredients
– 2 lbs Ground Turkey (93/7)
– 1 cup Finely Grated Carrots
– 1 cup Packed Fresh Spinach, Finely Chopped
– 1/2 cup Finely Grated Yellow Onion
– 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
– 1 Large Egg, Lightly Beaten
– 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
– 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
– 1 tsp Dried Oregano
– 1 tsp Salt
– 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
– 2 tbsp Olive Oil
– 12-16 Slider Buns
– 8 slices Provolone or Mild Cheddar Cheese
– 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
– 2 tbsp Ketchup
– 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
– Optional Toppings: Lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, pickles, red onion rings
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or prepare a grill.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, grated zucchini, grated carrot, diced bell pepper, minced onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape into small patties.
- Cook patties on a preheated grill or bake on a lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Toast the slider buns lightly if desired.
- Assemble sliders with patties and optional toppings like cheese, lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Be sure to drain the grated zucchini well to avoid excess moisture in the patties.
- For added flavor, mix in 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs or rolled oats to help bind the ingredients.
