Description

A delicious and easy-to-make copycat recipe for the popular Crumbl peanut butter cookies, thick and bursting with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • ½ cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in the peanut butter chips and chopped peanuts (if using).
  6. Drop heaping spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers are still soft.
  8. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a softer cookie, underbake slightly. Store in an airtight container for about a week.
