Description

The ultimate indulgence for chocolate lovers, featuring three luxurious layers of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse over a graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 8 oz milk chocolate, chopped
  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and a pinch of salt. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, ensuring an even layer. Set aside.
  2. For the dark chocolate mousse: Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water. Let it cool slightly. Meanwhile, whip 1 1/3 cups of heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the melted dark chocolate until incorporated and smooth. Pour this mousse onto the crust and refrigerate until set, about 1-2 hours.
  3. For the milk chocolate mousse: Repeat the melting and folding process with the milk chocolate and another 1 1/3 cups of heavy cream. Pour this over the dark chocolate layer and refrigerate until set, roughly 1-2 hours more.
  4. For the white chocolate mousse: Repeat the process with the white chocolate and the remaining heavy cream. Pour this on top of the milk chocolate layer. Refrigerate the entire cake until fully set, preferably overnight.
  5. Release and serve: Once fully set, carefully remove the cake from the springform pan. Slice and enjoy this heavenly cake chilled!

Notes

Keep an eye on the chocolate while melting to prevent it from seizing. Use a hot knife for cleaner slices.
