Description

A luxurious and rich Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake featuring layers of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g Dark Chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
  • 200g Milk Chocolate
  • 200g White Chocolate
  • 4 cups Heavy Cream (chilled)
  • 6 Egg Whites
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Melt the Dark Chocolate: Place 200g of dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until melted, then let cool.
  2. Whip Heavy Cream: In a mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the cooled dark chocolate.
  3. Beat Egg Whites: In another bowl, beat 2 egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the chocolate mixture.
  4. Repeat for Other Layers: Follow the melting and mixing steps for the 200g of milk chocolate and again for the white chocolate.
  5. Assemble the Cake: Layer the mousses in a springform pan starting with the dark chocolate, followed by milk chocolate, and then white chocolate.
  6. Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes.
  7. Unmold and Serve: Remove the cake from the springform pan and decorate as desired before serving.

Notes

Ensure heavy cream is cold for optimal whipping. It can be made a day ahead.
