A delightful fusion of tortellini and a creamy tomato sauce, baked to perfection and topped with gooey mozzarella.
Ingredients

- 400g Tortellini (Käse or Ricotta-Spinat)
- 250ml Sahne (heavy cream)
- 2 EL Tomatenmark (tomato paste)
- 1 TL Oregano
- 1 Knoblauchzehe (1 clove of garlic)
- 125g Mini Mozzarella
- 120g Kirschtomaten (cherry tomatoes)
- Frisches Basilikum zum Garnieren (fresh basil for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel and finely chop the garlic. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
- In a baking dish, whisk together the heavy cream, tomato paste, and oregano until smooth.
- Gently fold in the tortellini and halved cherry tomatoes until they are evenly coated.
- Evenly distribute the mini mozzarella over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh tortellini and high-quality cream. This dish can be prepared ahead and refrigerated or frozen for later use.
