Description

A delightful fusion of tortellini and a creamy tomato sauce, baked to perfection and topped with gooey mozzarella.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g Tortellini (Käse or Ricotta-Spinat)
  • 250ml Sahne (heavy cream)
  • 2 EL Tomatenmark (tomato paste)
  • 1 TL Oregano
  • 1 Knoblauchzehe (1 clove of garlic)
  • 125g Mini Mozzarella
  • 120g Kirschtomaten (cherry tomatoes)
  • Frisches Basilikum zum Garnieren (fresh basil for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
  3. In a baking dish, whisk together the heavy cream, tomato paste, and oregano until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the tortellini and halved cherry tomatoes until they are evenly coated.
  5. Evenly distribute the mini mozzarella over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh tortellini and high-quality cream. This dish can be prepared ahead and refrigerated or frozen for later use.
