Description

Decadent bite-sized truffles that capture the classic flavors of tiramisu, featuring a creamy mascarpone and coffee center coated in rich cocoa powder.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 1 cup ladyfinger crumbs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder, for coating

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Dissolve espresso powder in 1 tablespoon hot water. Cool slightly, then mix into mascarpone mixture.
  3. Gently fold in ladyfinger crumbs until well combined.
  4. Chill mixture in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes until firm enough to handle.
  5. Scoop and roll mixture into 1-inch balls.
  6. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat completely.
  7. Chill for an additional 10 minutes before serving.
