Instructions
- Pound the cilantro roots in a mortar with a pestle until a paste-like consistency is achieved (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add the white peppercorns to the cilantro roots and blend well for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Incorporate the peeled garlic cloves into the mixture and pound until mixed and fine (about 2-3 minutes).
- Mix the ground pork with the soy sauce, sugar, and cilantro mixture in a bowl, ensuring everything is thoroughly combined. Let sit for at least 10 minutes.
- Cook the marinated pork in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until cooked through and slightly caramelized.
Notes
