Description

A vibrant and zesty Thai Seafood Sauce bursting with freshness, perfect for seafood or grilled dishes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 to 5 Thai chilies, adjust to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 6 to 7 cilantro stems, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped palm sugar or light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients and get them ready.
  2. Make the Paste: Mortar and Pestle Method: Add the garlic, chilies, and cilantro stems to your mortar. Pound them into a fine paste. Add in the palm sugar and continue to pound until dissolved. Blender Method: Toss all ingredients into a blender and blend until you have a paste.
  3. Mix In the Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the fish sauce and lime juice into the mix until well combined.
  4. Serve or Store: Transfer your Thai Seafood Sauce to a sealed container and refrigerate for up to a week.
