Description
Quick and flavorful Thai Chicken Bites, perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Oil for frying
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, chili powder, and cornstarch.
- Toss in the chicken pieces, ensuring they are thoroughly coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
- In a large skillet, heat about 1/2 inch of oil over medium heat.
- Carefully add the marinated chicken bites to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the chicken bites and place them on a paper towel-lined plate. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and serve hot!
Notes
Ensure oil is hot enough before adding chicken to achieve crispy bites. Leftovers keep well for up to 3 days.
