- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Pie Crust by placing it in a 9-inch pie dish and crimping the edges. Optionally, brush the top with beaten egg before par-baking for 5 minutes.
- Mix the Filling by combining corn syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes until the filling is set and golden brown on top.
- Cool for at least 2 hours before slicing.
Notes
Store at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer storage. Bake the pie a day in advance for best flavor.
