Description
A fusion of two favorites – crispy pizza crust topped with seasoned taco meat, refried beans, melty cheese, and fresh taco toppings. Baked to perfection then finished with cool garnishes.

- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 premade pizza crust
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked ground beef
- Optional Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced red onion, sliced olives, diced tomatoes, sour cream
Instructions
- Prep crust: Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll dough on cornmeal-dusted surface to 12″ circle. Transfer to pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Cook meat: Brown ground meat in skillet. Drain fat, add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.
- Build base: Spread refried beans over crust, then taco sauce. Top with seasoned meat and cheese.
- Bake: Bake 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbles.
- Add fresh toppings: Remove from oven and immediately top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, and other fresh toppings.
- Finish: Drizzle with sour cream and salsa. Garnish with cilantro.
- Serve: Cut into wedges and serve immediately.

- Shortcut: Use pre-cooked taco meat or rotisserie chicken with taco seasoning
- Vegetarian option: Substitute seasoned lentils or plant-based crumbles
- Crispier crust: Preheat pizza stone or steel for 30 minutes before baking
