  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 premade pizza crust
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef
  • Optional Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced red onion, sliced olives, diced tomatoes, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Prep crust: Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll dough on cornmeal-dusted surface to 12″ circle. Transfer to pizza pan or baking sheet.
  2. Cook meat: Brown ground meat in skillet. Drain fat, add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Build base: Spread refried beans over crust, then taco sauce. Top with seasoned meat and cheese.
  4. Bake: Bake 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbles.
  5. Add fresh toppings: Remove from oven and immediately top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, and other fresh toppings.
  6. Finish: Drizzle with sour cream and salsa. Garnish with cilantro.
  7. Serve: Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
