Description

Indulge in layers of sweet peach mousse, fluffy cake, and whipped cream, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare the cake)
  • 1 cup peach mousse (prepared or store-bought)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe peaches, diced
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yellow cake by baking it according to package instructions and letting it cool completely on a wire rack.
  2. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Cube the cooled cake into small, bite-sized pieces.
  4. Layer in serving glasses, starting with cake cubes, followed by peach mousse, diced peaches, and whipped cream.
  5. Repeat the layers until the glasses are full, ending with whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  7. Chill the trifles in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use quality whipping cream and allow the flavors to meld in the refrigerator.
