Description

A delightful twist on the classic dessert, combining the flavors of strawberry shortcake with the chewy goodness of Rice Krispie treats.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup strawberry shortcake cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and cookie crumbs until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  5. Lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking pan and transfer the mixture, pressing down evenly.
  6. Allow to cool for 30 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to one week. To soften, microwave for a few seconds if they harden.
