A delightful pastry dessert combining layers of flaky puff pastry, creamy cheesecake mousse, and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients

- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons whole milk
- 3/4 cup strawberry preserves
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
- 1 recipe strawberry cheesecake mousse
- 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Prepare puff pastry by cutting each sheet into 6 equal rectangles.
- Whisk together the egg and milk for the egg wash and lightly coat the top of each pastry rectangle.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Separate the layers of each pastry, spread 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserves, pipe 2 tablespoons of strawberry cheesecake mousse, and top with sliced strawberries.
- Finish by placing the top half of the pastry back on and dusting with confectioners’ sugar.
- Serve on a platter and enjoy!
Notes
For prevent soggy bottoms, ensure pastries are fully baked until golden and crisp.
