Description

A homemade version of Starbucks’ famous pumpkin spice syrup, featuring brown sugar, pumpkin puree, and warm autumn spices. Perfect for lattes, coffee, and drizzling over desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Combine water, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in saucepan
  2. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves completely (3-5 minutes)
  3. Add pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice
  4. Bring to gentle simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened
  5. Remove from heat and let cool
  6. Strain through fine mesh strainer into clean bottle
  7. Refrigerate and use as needed

Notes

  • Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
  • Shake well before each use
  • Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling
  • For smoother syrup, strain multiple times if needed
