Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper; sauté for about 4-5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting to your preference.
  7. Continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For added heat, feel free to incorporate red pepper flakes or cayenne into the seasoning.
