Description

A flavorful twist on the classic sausage balls, combining spicy jalapeños and creamy cheese for a perfect appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Sausage
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 12 Jalapeños, diced
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a milder flavor, remove the seeds from jalapeños. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze uncooked balls for up to 3 months.
