Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • Additional powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1 cup of powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract and blend for an additional minute.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped nuts using a spatula.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. While warm, roll the cookies in additional powdered sugar.
  9. Let them cool on a wire rack, then dust with more powdered sugar before serving.
