Ingredients
- Smoked Salmon
- Cream Cheese
- Fresh Dill
- Capers
- Cucumber Slices
- Baguette or Crackers
- Lemon Wedges
Instructions
- Slice the Baguette into bite-sized pieces (about ¼ inch thick) and lay the slices on a baking sheet.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush the baguette slices lightly with room temperature butter and toast in the oven for about 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Once cooled, spread a layer of cream cheese on each toasted piece.
- Place a slice of smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese, folding it into a pretty rosette.
- Garnish with capers and a small piece of fresh dill.
- If desired, top with a thin cucumber slice.
- Plate the canapés and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
