- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/2 lbs)
- 1 1/3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
- 10.5 oz cream of celery soup
- 2 celery stalks (finely chopped)
- 2 boxes Stovetop stuffing mix (6 oz each)
- 6 Tbsp salted butter (melted)
Instructions
- Prep the Chicken: If your chicken breasts are thick, slice them in half horizontally and place in the slow cooker.
- Add the Broth: Pour 1 1/3 cups of chicken broth over the chicken.
- Season the Chicken: Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped celery.
- Add Soups: Spread cream of chicken and cream of celery soups over the chicken.
- Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours or HIGH for 3 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the Chicken: Shred the cooked chicken and mix it with the sauce.
- Add Stuffing: Sprinkle the two boxes of stuffing mix evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Butter It Up: Drizzle melted butter on top of the stuffing.
- Final Cook: Cover and cook on HIGH for another 10 minutes until the stuffing is soft.
- Serve: Serve the chicken, stuffing, and sauce together.
